A new way to pay that’s available online and lets you own it now and pay for it later!
Here’s how it works
Select Zip as your payment method at checkout.
Pay only 25% today and enjoy your purchase straight away.
Pay the rest over 3 fortnightly payments. Interest free.
To shop using Zip, you need:
- - Be at least 18 years of age
- - Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
- - Have a valid Facebook or PayPal account, in your own name
- - Have a valid debit card, in your own name
- - Have not declared bankruptcy or insolvency
Zip allows you to make purchases and get your goods shipped straight away but only pay 25% upfront with the rest charged over three fortnightly interest-free payments.
If you pass Zip's minimum credit criteria you will be allocated a starting spend limit between $300 - $1,000, subject to an individualised credit assessment. As you purchase using Zip and make your repayments on time, your spend limit will increase, up to a maximum of $1000 for most credit scores and $1500 for those with higher credit scores. If you're purchasing a Cardrona and Treble Cone Season Pass, you can spend above your limit and spread the payments evenly across 4 instalments.
You can sign up when checking out. The sign-up process takes 2-3 minutes and you need to be 18 years or older with valid ID and a NZ debit or credit card.
There are no fees and interest costs to shop with Zip if you make your payments on time. If you miss a payment you will be charged an $8 default fee per week it is late (capped at $40 total late fees per purchase).
When checking out online, you can spend above your available Zip credit by increasing your first payment by the difference. This is automatically calculated during checkout. If you're purchasing a Cardrona and Treble Cone Season Pass, you can spend above your limit and spread the payments evenly across 4 instalments.
Zip performs a credit check as part of its application process. Zip retailers do not have any influence on Zip's credit criteria. If you have questions around your application you will need to contact Zip, click here.
